Meet The Winchester Brothers

Gavin Winchester (left) and Tristan Winchester (right) want one thing only: Good vibes and good horror.

The Winchester Brothers are the team behind 2100films and Night Frights LA, focused on building film culture that actually feels alive.

Through Night Frights LA, they spotlight genre storytelling with an emphasis on bold, independent voices and community-driven curation.

They operate at the intersection of underground film culture and live event production, blending taste, instinct, and hands-on execution to create spaces where audiences and filmmakers actually connect.

What Sets Us Apart

Experience-First Programming

Night Frights LA is built around how horror feels in a room, not just how it plays on a screen. Each lineup is curated to create momentum, reactions, and a shared audience experience... not just a schedule of screenings.

Community Over Gatekeeping

Instead of operating like a traditional festival pipeline, it’s designed as a space where fans, filmmakers, and emerging voices actually mix. The focus is on access, energy, and building a real genre community in Los Angeles.

Curated Live Events

Every night is structured like an event, not just a block of films. The pacing, tone, and combinations of shorts and features are intentionally designed to make the audience feel like they’re part of something happening in real time.

Official Verdicts

Megan Rosati

Director, THE VANITY
★★★★★

"Thank you Night Frights for screening our short film THE VANITY at your festival! The communication leading up to the festival was so clear and succinct, and the organizers were great and friendly. The full size poster of our film that they printed out and displayed is an INCREDIBLE value that no other festival I've ever attended has provided. The red carpet was easy to access, and the host Elias made our media interview easy and fun!"

Andy Greene

Director, THE NATURE OF DEATH
★★★★★

"Incredible first year in-person for this festival! I was blown away by the Winchesters' communication, kindness and enthusiasm and by the little cool things that stood apart from other festivals (they printed out full size posters for every selected film! the best looking lanyards I've seen!). It's clear to me that this is an up and coming horror festival that is only going to get bigger and better."

Christopher Greenslate

Producer, BANANAHEAD
★★★★★

"Great new festival highlighting high caliber horror. So pleased that BANANAHEAD could participate in the inaugural edition and honored to have been included with so many great films. The Winchester brothers are building something truly special and you’d be making a mistake to not join them. Great job to all involved!"

Michael Kuciak

Director, KNIFE
★★★★★

"Night Frights LA was kind enough to play my film, KNIFE. The projection looked and sounded great, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. My composer Adrian and I did interviews after the screening that were high energy and a lot of fun. Speaking with the other filmmakers in attendance was a highlight, as well. I'm looking forward to coming back next year, as either a filmmaker or horror film fan."

Jeremy Mowery

Filmmaker
★★★★★

"Night Frights LA was a great experience. The festival directors went all out with every little detail. There were interviews, networking, panels and many high quality films screened. I highly recommend this festival!"

Bradley Jones

★★★★★

"The Winchester Brothers are great guys. They really care about horror films and are willing to put in the work to promote screenings for each and every film they present. While they are a new film festival, I would highly encourage you to submit your films as I feel like this festival will continue to grow and become more significant on the horror scene."

Gerardo Maravilla

★★★★★

"Incredibly professional and supportive festival! The curators truly understand how to uplift independent genre artists and create an environment that feels welcoming and premium. Great job to all involved!"

Tyler Beveridge

Director, THE NATURE OF DEATH
★★★★★

"The first in person NightFrights LA was a blast. We had the opportunity to screen 'The Nature of Death' to a pretty packed theater with great reactions. The curators truly believe in the indie filmmaker and they have a wonderful eye for creating a cohesive block and an incredible day celebrating all things horror. It is for sure a festival you should submit to!"
